Welcome to the Jashn-e-Rekhta Volunteer Program 2025.

Volunteering at Jashn-e-Rekhta is an opportunity to become part of one of India’s most prestigious cultural festivals. It is also a position of responsibility that demands discipline, punctuality, and professionalism.

Before You Begin:

• Each year, we receive thousands of applications from talented individuals who wish to contribute to Jashn-e-Rekhta.
• We are looking for Individuals (Students, Professionals etc) who are willing to work hard, adapt quickly, and uphold the dignity of the festival.
• This is not a casual volunteering experience — it is a structured, high-responsibility engagement that contributes directly to the success of the event.

Selection Process:

• Registration: Complete the official volunteer form available at jashnerekhta.org. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
• Screening: Applications will be reviewed for completeness, clarity, and relevance.
• Group Interaction / Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online interview session. Attendance is mandatory.
• Confirmation: Selected volunteers will receive an official email with role allocation and departmental details.
• Briefings & Orientation: Attendance in all online and on-ground training sessions is compulsory. Absence will result in removal from the program.
• On-Ground Duty: Volunteers must report on time, follow team leads’ instructions, and maintain professional conduct throughout the festival.

Important Instructions:

• Do not apply for volunteering as a way to gain free access to the festival.
• Volunteers must be available for all three days — 5th, 6th, and 7th December 2025 at Baansera Park, New Delhi. However, we will be providing the briefing on 4th Dec.
• You will be expected to follow schedules strictly and respect the chain of command.
• Any instance of misconduct, unprofessional behaviour, or absenteeism will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Mobile phone usage during active duty hours is strictly prohibited unless permitted by your department head.
• Dress modestly and appropriately, reflecting the dignity and ethos of Urdu and Jashn-e-Rekhta.

Volunteer Benefits:

• As a volunteer, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and become part of this prestigious event. While no monetary compensation is provided, your travel, food, and beverages will be covered.
• You will also receive a Certificate of Appreciation for your contribution.
• Volunteers will be given limited time to experience the festival during designated slots, and the entire team will celebrate together during the final performance on Day 3.

For Returning Volunteers:

We appreciate your continued association with Jashn-e-Rekhta.
However, every year is treated as a new application and requires fresh evaluation. Your past performance and current availability will both be considered.

Timeline:

• Applications Open: 4th November 2025
• Applications Close: 10th November 2025
• Online Interactions: 15th–18th November 2025
• Final List Announcement: 20th November 2025
• On-Ground Briefing: 4th Dec, Second half of the day
• On-Ground Volunteering: 5th, 6th & 7th December 2025
• Venue: Baansera Park, New Delhi

Disqualification Clause:

Immediate removal from the program may occur due to:

• False or misleading information in the form
• Failure to attend briefings or training sessions
• Unprofessional conduct or repeated tardiness
• Leaving the venue without authorization
• Any violation of the festival's Code of Conduct

All decisions by the Rekhta Foundation Management Team will be final and binding.
