Jashn-e-Rekhta 2025: Complete Visitor Guide

Venue: Baansera Park, New Delhi

Dates: 5-7 December 2025

Entry & Exit: Only through the Baansera Park Main Entrance

Note: The main entrance is 200 metres from Sarai Kale Khan Metro Station.

Box Office Information:

There are two box offices at the venue.

1. Entry Tickets – Box Office

Location: Main Entrance, Baansera Park (follow the signages)
Collect your wristbands from this counter.
Wristbands for any of the three days can be collected during box office hours.

2. Mehfil Khana – Box Office

Location: 100 metres ahead of the Main Entrance (follow the signages)
Collect your wristbands from this counter.
Wristbands for any of the three days can be collected during box office hours.

Timings: Box Office & Festival Entry

Day 1 – Friday, 5 December: From 2:00 PM
Day 2 – Saturday, 6 December: From 9:30 AM
Day 3 – Sunday, 7 December: From 9:30 AM

Important Information:

1. Day 1: Mehfil Khana Stage, Rekhta Bazaar and Food Bazaar will be fully operational from 3:30 PM onwards for all ticket holders.

2. Day 2 & 3: Dayāar-e-Izhaar, Sukhan Zaar, Bazm-e-Khayaal stages + Rekhta Bazaar + Food Bazaar will be fully operational from 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM.

3. Mehfil Khana Entry: Entry opens at 3:30 PM, and programs begin at 5:00 PM.

4.Access for All Ticket Holders: Entry ticket and Mehfil Khana reserved seating ticket holders can experience the entire festival from start to end on all days.

Getting to the Venue:

We strongly recommend using public transport or app-based taxis to avoid delays. Heavy traffic is expected around the venue.

Take the Pink Line to Sarai Kale Khan–Nizamuddin Metro Station
Exit from Gate No.3
Baansera Park is a short walk from the station, located near Ganga Vihar and Sarai Kale Khan

3. Bus

Several DTC and Cluster buses serve the Nizamuddin/Sarai Kale Khan area.

Travel Tips for Out-of-Town Visitors:

From IGI Airport (DEL)

Taxi/Cab: Approx. 20 km | 35–45 minutes

Metro + Taxi/Auto

1. Airport Express → New Delhi Station

2. Switch to Pink Line → Sarai Kale Khan–Nizamuddin (Gate No. 3)

Metro + Walking

Same route as above; the park is within walking distance.

From New Delhi Railway Station (9–10 km)

Taxi/Cab: Approx. 25–35 minutes

Metro + Auto/Taxi

1. Yellow Line → INA

2. Switch to Pink Line → Sarai Kale Khan–Nizamuddin

3. Auto/taxi or short walk to the park

Auto-Rickshaw: Approx. 30–40 minutes

Admission Guidelines:

QR-coded tickets must be scanned at the box office to receive wristbands
Wristbands must be worn at all times
Tickets are valid only for the booked date
Students must carry a valid student ID
Organisers are not responsible for lost/duplicate/counterfeit tickets
Damaged or tampered wristbands will result in denied entry

Prohibited Items:

The following are strictly not allowed:

Backpacks, large bags, laptop bags
Laptops, tablets, power banks
Professional cameras, GoPros, drones
Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods
Glow sticks, laser pointers
Lighters, matches, flammable items
Whistles, horns, noisemakers
Balloons, fireworks, crackers
Sharp objects (scissors, knives, blades)
Helmets, heavy chains
Markers, spray paints, adhesives
Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes
Narcotics or illegal substances
Weapons (except kirpans up to 9 inches)

Note: Confiscated items will not be returned.

Venue Rules:

Mandatory security screening for all attendees
Outside food and beverages are not allowed
Smoking, alcohol and narcotics are strictly prohibited
Pets are not allowed (except certified service animals)
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Security may deny entry or remove anyone violating rules
Organisers are not responsible for loss of personal belongings

Mehfil Khana Guidelines:

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis
Entry may close once the ground reaches capacity
Performances will be streamed on multiple screens across the festival arena
Remain seated during performances
Video recording is strictly prohibited
Schedule may change depending on artist and festival requirements
Follow instructions from volunteers and security staff at all times
